Alice De Vliegher is a Belgian artist known for her expressive and inventive painting style. From a young age, she has been influenced by the art of her father, Jan De Vliegher. Her work stems from a deep love of color, composition, and the creation of a dreamy, inviting world. She paints realistic works that she transforms into compositions where light, color, and shadow play a central role. Her works are often produced in series, allowing her to focus entirely on the painting process. Depictions of pastries, sweets, and elements of nature bring playfulness and wonder, inviting viewers to rediscover the beauty of everyday objects. In addition to paintings, Alice also creates textile works, giving new life to her visual poetry and playful spirit. Her work has gained international recognition, with participation in art fairs and exhibitions, including in Amsterdam. The combination of technical mastery and playfulness makes her oeuvre unique, contemporary, and full of expression.
