Juan Escudero is a Spanish artist whose work has been recognized internationally over the past years. Having mastered the etching technique, he creates breathtaking pieces that begin with the engraving of a copper plate and culminate in a meticulous stamping process on thoughtfully sourced papers. His works evoke tranquility and introspection, drawing the viewer in and inviting them to get lost in the image. The intensity of color and the beauty of subtle gradients create a hypnotic visual experience. A graduate in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country with a specialization in Painting, Escudero left his discipline in 1993 to found a 3D animation company. During those years, he received general training in computer graphics. Around 2007, he returned to art through drawing. In 2011, he made his first etching, and since 2017, he has devoted himself fully to this medium.
