In « Between mist & memory », Nikee Celis translates her personal impressions of nature into abstract paintings. Fields, forest edges, and morning mist inspire her work. Small moments, such as a pink sky or sunlight reflecting on water, are brought together in the studio to form unique compositions.
Her color palette ranges from soft, muted tones to bright, intense accents, reflecting how memories can be either vague or vividly present. Each work is a collage of observations and emotions, a personal imprint of the artist that invites the viewer to their own interpretation.
