Extra info:Original collage by Tom Wesselmann. Wesselmann cuts out shapes and arranges them in a way that recalls advertising imagery or comic strips. The cigarette represents not only consumption, but also female autonomy, seduction, and a kind of coolness that was characteristic of the pop culture of that era.
