Original and signed work from 2010. Alechinsky uses ink and wash on an old document, which serves not only as a medium but also as memory, a pre-used surface with traces of history. The bamboo root motif evokes nature, growth, and connection, creating an interdisciplinary link with Eastern calligraphy.
The work is professionally framed, with a dark oak background and a matching frame fitted with anti-reflective glass.
