Signed and detailed etching with a handwritten title inscription. The print shows the art critic Eugène Demolder on the left, depicted as Gragapança, and James Sidney Edouard baron Ensor on the right as Fridolin. In Ensor's coat pocket, a magazine can be seen, most likely "La Libre Critique", in which Demolder published an article on Ensor in January 1895. The scene may be associated with a trip Ensor and Demolder made around 1895 to Zeeland.
The work is presented in a classic black frame with UV-protective glass. It is also included in the catalogue raisonné of James Ensor's graphic work by A. Taevernier under no. 95.
