Acrylic and pencil on printed book cover. For this work, the artist uses a found book cover as a support, a material with a decorative, almost wallpaper-like quality. The text fragments, taken from a Pixies song, add an extra layer of meaning and influence the way the image is experienced. The gradually enlarging letters heighten the emotional tension and lend the composition a distinctive intensity.
This unique, signed, artwork is offered in a floating frame, fitted with UV-protective, anti-reflective glass.
