Bernar Venet France, Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban, 1941°

Born in France and based in New York City since 1966, Bernar Venet is an internationally acclaimed sculptor. His monumental steel sculptures are represented in numerous public and private collections worldwide and occupy prominent locations in public spaces. Among his best-known works are the "Lignes indéterminées" series in Corten steel, installed in cities including Cologne (1999), Paris (2002), Nice, Luxembourg (2003), and New York City (2004). One of his most spectacular achievements is "L'Arc Majeur" (2019), a monumental sculpture spanning the E411 motorway in Belgium, between the provinces of Namur and Luxembourg, and recognized as one of Europe's largest public steel sculptures.
